David: A good friend of ours played scout team QB @ TX and is president of Houston Longhorn Foundation Club. He called me after their luncheon last Friday ( a recruiting update from one of TX assistants). He told me the natives are restless; they are concerned about Mack Brown and most recently the recruiting performance vs. Others and specifically Ole Miss. He said Ole Miss was a big table conversation topic and that their was a consensus of concern over payback from us in Austin next fall. He said that they all just hoped we could start giving it to Bama and TAMU. Lastly, he said several people mentioned how much they enjoyed the trip to Oxford last fall and that they would like to see the series somehow continue beyond one home and home. Hotty Toddy!!!!

I think Texas has a BIG reason to be worried about us. Even though we lost 66-33, we scored when we wanted to. Moncrief made outstanding catches and he was covered like white on rice. A couple interceptions and horrible secondary defense was the game winning factor for them. Now our D believes in themselves + all the new recruits will give that much more confidence. Not predicting a W but I think we definitely have a shot.
