In order to make football gameday parking more accessible and safer, Ole Miss is announcing a new campus parking plan beginning with the 2013 season.

Don't have all details yet but doesn't look good for Grove access! It's a money grab that could back fire if the Grove situation has not been completely thought out.
they said they will allow people to drop off at the grove up to 2 hours before kickoff then all roads except university will be closed for traffic unless you have a parking pass.
i am ok with this, b/c my main issue those 7 times a year is being able to leave the house in time to find decent parking, now, i will at least know i have a parking spot available in which ever lot i pay for.
For me and many, the issue is getting back to the Grove after the game for loading. The info says only University Ave will access you to the Grove. Got to find out how that will work. Sounds like a jam to me.
yeah, that could be a big stand-still if they dont open additional access to campus. i would assume they would allow people back on once the game started which would allow people to load up whenever they were ready to go. of course, you never know
Just spent some time on the phone about this. Typical, could not answer questions about traffic flow after the game back to the Grove for loading. Admitted this is a work in progress. They were glad to hear my questions and I believe they will be worked on for a traffic and better game day experience. More to come. Hotty Toddy!
