He got fired up and emotional when someone asked him about lackluster play. I've never seen him say anything that really struck me, but I wanted to suit up and play after that rant myself. While he really said nothing at all about Ole Miss, you could infer from what he was saying that his guys battled to win that game, so I think he gave Ole Miss a little respect without really intending to do it. I saw it on sports center, but would be shocked it if doesn't show up on YouTube. Even if you are not a Miles or LSU fan, it's worth the watch in my opinion!
While it was another stinging loss that hurt deep in the soul of many Rebel fans, you have to like the fight and heart of our team. With a few recruiting classes under our belt, we should get some depth and once that happens, Ole Miss football will be a program to be feared in my opinion. I've always felt like we could do better in football, we just needed the right person to lead the team, and I think we now have that man in place. I can't wait for the 2013 season to get started, and we aren't even done with 2012. Compare that to last year when there was absolutely nothing to smile abou! While the last minute losses were painful, in the bigger picture, they are really very exciting and positive stories for where Ole Miss football is headed!
