Here in attendance for the Kansas vs. North Carolina game.
The snow seems to have kept a lot of Jayhawk fans away. That's understood, it feels like a blizzard out there.
What should be expect for Rebel faithful? Wish I could be there
Kill that man Patrick WIllis!
I already see some red in the crowd. The weather conditions will hurt the crowd, but I know some of the Ole Miss faithful traveled on Friday evening which helps...
More and more Kansas fans continue to file in . There are empty seats, however. Any other time there wouldn't be a seat in the house.
Roy Williams gets a warm welcome....
I'm joking, he was about run out of the arena...
11:20 left in the half.
Both teams are trying to establish a game in the paint. The Tarheels are settling for a few more jumpers than the Jayhawks, however.
Jeff Withey is doing work for Kansas defensively right now. Tarheels lead 14-11 with 7:50 left in the half.
Kansas fans complain about every call. I guess that's what happens when you're the home team.
North Carolina leads 30-21 at the half.
It's good to see my boy Leslie McDonald playing some. Former Briarcrest great
Difference in the NC vs. Kansas game??? NC has eight steals to Kansas' one.... The Tar Heels have 11 points off turnovers... The Jayhawks have none...
It looks like we are going to have a great turnout for the game. I'm so nervous that I feel like i'm about to play. Hotty Toddy go Rebs and Beat Lasalle! Let the MarshallMadness continue!
Jayhawk faithful is rocking here. Kansas leads 40-35 with 13 minutes left
Roy Williams just lost his religion on some poor ref
The video board just showed the Rebels getting off the bus. The mixed red rose to its feet
I'm interested to see how many Kansas fans will stick around from the Ole Miss/La Salle matchup.
Tipoff will happen at 7:09 p.m. CST
Both teams are warming up as I type. The road to the Sweet 16 is about to begin.
As I figured, most Kansas fans vamped after their win. The nasty weather has a lot to do with it I'm sure...
There is a solid section of Ole Miss fans, however.
The Rebels trot back to the locker room.
Ole Miss has reentered the court. The Rebel faithful are on their feet, red pompoms are flying.
It's about that time Ole Miss fans...
As usual, Marshall Henderson brings mixed emotions during player introductions.
Ole Miss has a size advantage at almost every position.. The team really needs to use that throughout the game.
The Rebels length has been the difference to start the game. Ole Miss leads 9-6 with 15:52 left in the half...
La Salle is fast, however. The team might be undersized, but they can slash to the rim.
The Explorers are shooters, that's part of the four-guard offense. La Salle leads 14-9 with 14:15 left in the half...
Ole Miss must do a better job on perimeter defense and keep the Explorers from slashing to the goal for easy layups...Easier said than done, obviously..
The Rebels start out sluggish on offense. That shouldn't surprise anyone. It's been the case for the last three weeks.
Ole Miss might want to slow it down, though. The Explorers are striving on fast-pace offense.
La Salle leads 16-11 with 11:35 left in the half..
Where is the sense of urgency? Look like we did in the first half of all the sec tourney games? Glad we are a second half team but seems like we are playing with fire.
