Mike has done a fine job here at Ole Miss in his 12 seasons. Sometimes the job passes the man by, no matter what the profession is. That's why the military sometimes moves war heroes to desk jobs. It's life. It may be time for fresh blood on the battle field.

How do you have such great talent on a team and lose 4 in a row??? We took the series from Fla for crying out loud! 4game losing streak and now we have to play KY?? God help us!

It certainly doesn't add up. Swayze in baseball is comparable to Bryant Denny Stadium in football. So are all the other resources that the Ole Miss baseball team has. If facilities matter at all, we ought to be winning in baseball like Alabama does in football. Instead we are in perpetual rebuilding mode it seems. We were great in 2005 and 2006 but that was a half dozen years ago. I don't want anyone to lose his job but I don't know how else to feel right now.

As far as losing his job... this program is twice the program he took over.... he took what was a pathetic program and made it very respectable across the country.....despite not making it to Omaha. He has been very close to making it there a couple of times. It is unfortunate that the team is playing so poorly now at this time....but baseball is a funny game. One hit...one game...and suddenly your hot again.

Lets hope for the best guys...this is a very good team in a slump.... Lets see how it plays out. I am not saying we will win some games....but I am saying we are more than capable of winning a bunch. So...lets get behind them and encourage them to break out. This is not like football were we obviously are lacking talent. My 2 cents.
