Finebaum anyone?

  • Does anyone listen to The Paul Finebaum Show? If not, get a satellite radio and get ready to laugh your a*# off! I used to listen to The Bulldog Show (Sherrill/Croom Era) just to hear all the bacci-chompin, corncob-pipe smoking Rednecks who called in to "express" their displeasure with TSUN!!! Oh the humanity!
    Those "Gumps" over there are worth the price of the radio and the subscription!

    Yeah true...he's just a Bammer Hack, but he keeps the Bammers and Aubbies in a state of perpetual hateful bliss! He dumps on Everybody (except Bama). I listen to the ppl that call in for the sheer entertainment value! It's hard to believe there are that many stupid ppl in Alabama.
    Trust me... If you listen to it more than 30 mins, you will feel like a Genius!

    No app that I'm aware of? Sirius Radio channel 91 (which by way is dedicated to college football) 2:00-6:00pm for Finebaum.
    On an Ole Miss related note, Houston Nutt co-host a show with Jack Arute 11:00am-2:00pm. Finebaum is a real DOUCHE, but the callers are Saturday Night Live funny.

  • Hate finebaum.

    The bigges thing indont understand is the actual worship for fine aum himself. The guy has a 4 hour radio show and speaks for about twenty minutes. All he does is facilitate arguments from the same people every day.
    The truly sad thing is that those main everyday callers feel special and famous because of it and make the point to listen and be involved for four hours every day. What kind of life do you have to do that?

    There is an app for android and iPhone called TuneIn Radio. I use it to listen to the Game Time Morning Show and Finebaum. It allows you to pick up radio stations around the world. Just search for Finebaum, the Jox station 95.5 usually is the best.

    When I first moved to Mobile I hated the show. But I've grown to love it. Paul is a homer but has become more objective since going national. The show it's self though is entertainment that happens to be sports driven, Paul will admit that aswell. The callers are a trip, you never know what you're going to get (Jerry Springer meets Sportscenter). A few of them know a little football too ha. He also usually has really good guests, had a great interview with Ross Bjork after he was hired.

    Well said, the show is entertainment. Pauls one redeeming quality is that he conducts a very good interview. The Bjork interview was impressive and Finebaum raved about Bjork afterwards,by the way, is about the only good thing he said about Ole Miss that I can remember.
    But the "Gumps/callers" drive the show. Before I heard this show, I had no idea why ppl blow up buildings.

    Yea he is good at that. I just dont think he is that knowledgable. He doesnt understand the game of college football. At least I dont think he does. He graduated from Utenn but he seems to hate them.

    He has always said he isn't concerned with discussing x's and o's, he is there to entertain. You just have to take him for what he is.

    Personally I think he blows Jim Rome away, but I have also never been a big Jim Rome fan.

    I can definitely understand people not liking Finebaum, you just have to go in expecting him to bash every school in the SEC, especially when they suck. If you take him as just anger form of entertainment I the he is good. Mplus, him getting his callers on the air like he does should make us all feel better about Mississippi
