First off richie brown wouldn't see the field with all the LB's we have and second off I would take Channing and issac over quay any day!!! Remember a few years that 45 to 0 ass whipping y'all took in Oxford well get ready cause them days are back and all the recruits know it!!

haha you edited it, but yes it has been a great battle. I like it this way, if one of us would win every year i think that would diminish the rivilary a little bit, but i think state winning three in a row has lit a fire back underneath it. i think we will see great competitive rival football and a better brand of football out of both of our teams and it should be fun.

yes, unfortunately we are in the heart of recruiting country. bama lsu memphis, tennessee, auburn, vanderbilt and usm all surround us. and with the how close the proximity is to our schools it really makes it hard for a kid to only like state or only like Ole Miss. On the coast there are more tiger fans than either, and the closer you get to mobile they love bama. it has made our journey a very difficult road.

If y'all beat us this year, i just hope you beat a decent team. The last good rebel team you beat was 09 egg bowl. We put up a little fight in 2010 egg bowl but just didn't have the talent. I don't even want to talk about 2011.....

Good discussion guys.. I think Matt Luke is our man on the coast now.. I believe he is from that area, hopefully he can help Ole Miss start getting kids from that area again as well.

Dude, are you reading this before hitting the post reply button? I have never said we didn't want someone when they committed to OM. Sure there are MSU fans that think like that, but there are also OM fans who do the same. Every fanbase has them.
And all of our recruits only have us as a BCS offer? Really? Do you realize how stupid that sounds? That was an issue with Croom. Not so much with Mullen

We had 2 wins and could end up with a top 10 recruiting class and y'all will finish in the 60's were y'all do every year!!! Name 1 big name recruit Mullen has got to come to Starkville?

Really? A lot of state fans were not exactly thrilled with last year. I think we finished where we should have personally.
And what big recruits have Mullen brought to Starkville? Tyler Russell, Quay Evans, Denico Autry, Nick James, Will Redmond, Richie Brown. Do I need to keep going?
