Dang! I step away for a few hours and all heck breaks loose. Two commits in one night! Hotty Toddy! Just reading the previous articles, this couldn't have come as a big surprise. I felt like he was a Rebel all along!

Mario Mathis would be rated much higher if he hadn't had the knee injury last year. I think Ole Miss is getting a steal with this kid.

Hey guys, you are all correct in being excited about Mario. He is a first-class young man that will represent well on and off the field. I can't tell enough about how impressive of a young man he is. He's one of my favorites and he is the kind of player a program can be built around. Ole Miss got one of the really good guys tonight in Mario.

This kid played all last season with a torn acl, miniscus tear, and bone fragment lodged in his cartilage!!!! My gosh! Tough kid! Sounds like he has alot of heart. Awesome get for the good guys! Hotty Toddy

I think this kid has a bright future in the red and blue..! I'm not sure how accurately this question can be answered with his injury last year but what kind of speed does he have? Just wondering if has the speed to play LB in the SEC or if he may be one who adds a little bulk and moves to DE... Personally I sure hope he can stay at LB, I love the Big LBs that can run.. Either way I'm proud to welcome Mr Marthis into the Rebel nation, he looks to have plenty of talent and character.
