I do not post much at all. i mainly read.
i have noticed some crazy chatter back and forth recently on this board and ours. this will be a serious thread, NOT trash talk.
Ok, yall right now are clearly beating us in recruiting. (again right now). Yall started on fire with RB and Combs and others. Where do yall expect to finish in recruiting rankings this year? Most people on here expect 3-6 wins i saw. What about average points per game? against and for? who do you see being your stars? who do you think will be a step up athlete? and what are you most concerned about? O-line or overall defense?
Thank you in advance of your answer, and of course, HAIL STATE!! haha

omg, a decent State poster!!! lol...
i say top 25, and if we pull the big fish like Shumpert, Moore, and Conner possibly top 15 top 10...
average points maybe 28-33... thats hard to count because i have not seen these kids in this offense vs someone else... Defense average less than 40 for the love of God!!! haha jp, more like less than 25 please...
yes, i say 4 or 5 wins (one upset obv...)
Our stars will be Montcrief at WR, Wallace at QB imo... and Brunetti when he is in game...
possible stun athletes, Mackey also WR, and John youngblood at TE...
i am concerned for O-line and LB's...

It depends on if we can land guys like Conner, Moore, and maybe Nkemdiche, I saw strange rumors.. our defense is going to be better than many expect... I've heard coaches and Players from other teams say that we have good talent on defense but it's like they didn't know where to be.. most of the time that blame goes on the coaching staff... 3-6 wins is what we're expecting... again, this year really is a rebuilding year and sort of a preview for next years season.. points per game should improve.. as you know the last 4 games of the season we only scored 2 TD's... our defense should decrease last years points allowed, step up athlete on offense will be Moncrief on defense Charles Sawyer, most concerned about O-Line, and I tried to start a thread like this on the other board but they acted so immature

I think I agree for the most part. I would also say that Scott will be a home run threat with his speed in space and we don't know about Mathers yet. You forgot about defense though. I think Sawyer is going to be the man but look for CJ to step up and have a break our year. Imo we need Standifer or Elston to step up as true Fresman also.

I am not responsible for other posters. just like i am sure yall have some crazy biased fans. every fan base has em. Bama and LSU just happen to be the worst. haha
Defense, that is what i thought about most of your players, you have some athletes just didnt know what to do. as a coach that coaches 4-2-5, it is easier to understand for DB's because their is more you have less responsibilties for each player, and less changes and audibles. Muscle up front is the main thing for that defense. any really

Robert Nkemdiche commits to Ole Miss following their stellar 3-9 season. "It was all the momentum they're pumping into that program" said Nkemdiche. "I mean, Hugh Freeze might look like Bucky Larson, but he acts like a preacher. Pretty soon he'll be able to practice what he preaches. Me and my brother are going to turn things around there. Next year we're going to break that 23 game SEC losing streak when we catch Vandy slipping." Nkemdiche's older brother Denzel was also excited "man, I haven't won many games the past few years, but with Robert here we'll go undefeated." While Ole Miss fans have been excited about the likes of Pat Patterson, Craig Drummong, Raymond Cotton, Tig barksdale, Vincent Sanders, Carlton Martin, Wayne Dorsey, Randall Mackey, Carlos Thompson, Nick Brassell, CJ Johnson, Tobias Singleton, Donte Moncrief, and Senquez Golson, none of those players individually or collectively have been able to salvage the program from being the doormat of the SEC. However, there are high hopes that this year Ole Miss will ink that magic recruit that makes everything better. Here's to hoping Robert Nkemidicheis that man... the one who can walk on water, jump buildings, and single handedly play offense, defense, and special teams for the beloved Rebels.
