Ole Miss athletics director Ross Bjork addresses the SEC's decision to suspend safety Trae Elston after a solid hit on a UTEP player...
I do not agree with Bjorks response on this.
while i would like to see an appeal filled i dont think it will happen after listening to this. he seems to not want to press the issue and bring about a grudge with the conference commish that could cause impact in future issues. its all politics boys, its all politics (Ole Miss)-><- Slive

I feel like he was holding something back, but I am trying to give the new AD the bennefit of the doubt. You are right about the politics. Also, I did see it reported that there are no appeal rights. Millions of dollars are involved in SEC football, yet no appeal rights. Stinks. Mostly, I hate that Elston has to miss the playing time. He earned it.

well until now the SEC front office has remaind fairly hands off so i dont imagine that appeal rights have been on the fronts of AD's minds
