Why Dan Mullen is bad for the state of Mississippi

For starters... The man is from Pennsylvannia so he's really a Yankee trying to coach in the SEC... Ole Miss is my favorite school obviously but being in southwest Mississippi, most Ole Miss fans hate LSU the most like i do. And there is alot of Ole Miss fans in the southwest that were rooting for Mississippi State because they were really rooting for the state of Mississippi... but when Mullen came to MSU, and trashed Ole Miss... every Ole Miss fan made sure never to go to college there at dhaouthouse... it even got worse when he started trashing Southern Miss, a team who the puppies never play, and just about all of their fanbase hate Mississippi State now... and I'm sure it won't stop there, I'm pretty sure he'll trash all the other universities in Mississippi and then once or if he finally beats a SEC west team he'll trash them... I understand "Rivalries" but there's no point in trying to trash universities like this... getting fans to curse out some players and universities in such.. He's taking it too far and it will come back on him just like it did with Sylvester Croom.. It seems as the Ole Miss fanbase tried not to take part in these childish activities but when u get this frustrated.... your gonna respond back so Dan Mullen.. I'm glad you didn't go to Miami, Florida or Penn State even though you tried to get your fans to believe that you turned them down even though you never were offered a job... cuz your gonna be trapped in that rathole that you created for a while... I really enjoyed that. You are exactly right about the southern folks. One of those "our state" billboards is on 90 in Biloxi. They hate it worse than I do. I am sure you will meet some of our guest dogs shortly.

I believe the only reason why we've lost 3 in a row is because Nutt always got us ready for LSU but never bothered with MSU... every year... we're clearly the better team as far as athleticism goes... and we'll show that in November

One thing about it, Mullen has sparked the MSU-OM rivarly and hate him or love him, he has done that. And btw, MSU plays USM in 2014 and 2015.

Clearly the better team? I just read your comment to two OM alum I work with and they said you have to be the dumbest most homer fan of all time to believe OM was better than State the last two yrs.

yeah we got the best talent... not the best coaches....now we got both, plus a pretty good meeting in Oxford... where Mississippi A&M has struggled heavily in... It gets real in November

They have season tickets and give money as well, pretty sure their "true fans" but also very realistic ones, unlike yourself and your 3 amigos.
Thanks for giving Mullen the credit for being such a great coach, it definitely takes one to kick the dog shit out of team who has better talent at every position. Go Dawgs!

I've always thought there are two jobs he would leave MSU for - Penn St and UGA. Doesnt look like that will happen anytime soon, imo.

y'all just don't realize how our team just didn't wanna do nothing last year.. there was no heart except maybe from guys like Mike Marry and Charles Sawyer, now we have a coach that is gonna fire our guys up unlike what Nutt did last year

Just thought I would correct some Rebel Bear perceptions.
1. Dan Mullen graduated from Manchester, New Hampshire, High School. His Dad went to Penn State. Dan also went to Ursinus (the Bear) College in Pennsylvania, a "Little Ivy" school. He is not from Pennsylvania.
2. Dan Mullen never trashed Ole Miss, he just prefers to refer to you as The School Up North (TSUN).
3. Dan Mullen reacted to Houston Nutt's slander of Mississippi State, because Nutt had said the week before that Ole Miss was the only school in Mississippi on the rise.
4. Assertions of having the best athletes at every position then losing by double digits in 2 of 3 straight years and by more than a TD in the other indicates an aberration in thinking.
5. How did Mullen trash USM? I never saw anything about that? Did he call them TSDS?
6. Dan Mullen shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence with our former head coach.
7. Dan was offered Miami, Illinois, but not Florida, even though Foley called him about the job.
8. Dan promised we would never lose to TSUN while he is here. He has made good on his word so far....and counting.

Leaving at halftime and going and partying in the grove and waking up the next morning and not knowing if we won or lost is not true fans and please show them that!! I am literally begging like down on my knees begging y'all to beat a legit sec team, hell beat somebody else in the west for god sakes!!! In mullens 3 years he hasn't beaten anybody worth a damn why might you ask: HE IS A CHOKE KING AND STATE IS A CHOKE TEAM!!!!
